Big Dance News
Vol. 27 No. 1 March 11, 2010In this time of continuing turmoil and uncertainty, The Big Dance returns to provide entertainment for the depressed, excitement for the bored and the prospect of cash flow for the out-of-work hedge fund manager. Backed by a massive infusion of TARP money, The Big Dance 2010 may offer the largest payday in the 27 year history of Biggest Dance Fever.
Now in its 27th year, The Big Dance has become the stuff of legend, matching global Dancers in the greatest challenge in sports - unerringly selecting the NCAA Men's Championship bracket victors in a battle of raw genius. The Big Dance is back, again featuring easy accessibility through The Big Dance Website, three weeks of nerve-wracking suspense, frequent updates to keep Big Dancers riveted and lots of good, wholesome fun. The challenge this year will be the greatest ever, as the newly destitute among the Big Dance contestants are relying on anticipated Big Dance cash flow as a primary source of 2010 income. All entries must be submitted electronically at www.thebiggestdance.com, the official home of the Biggest Dance. The draw will be posted on Sunday, March 14 immediately after the televised Selection Sunday show and entries will be accepted through The Biggest Dance Automated Entry System until 12 noon (EDT) on Thursday, March 18.
The Big Dance Blog will remain a key feature of the entertainment package that The Big Dance provides. Think of the BDBlog as a public roasting pit, available on the home page of The Big Dance website, to enable Big Dancers to rage against their team, competitive Dancers, or simply to Rage Against the Machine. The BDBlog will be available 24/7 throughout March Madness. Feel free to visit now, www.thebiggestdance.com, and share your brilliance, insight or rants with your fellow Dancers.
As it has been for 27 years, the entry donation remains $100. The top eight finishers will receive prize money, keeping Dancers riveted until the bitter end. Also as in past years, The Commissioner expects each of you to recruit fresh, naïve, inexperienced lambs to be led to the slaughter - and join in the fun. Wives and husbands, in particular, are especially attractive recruits - bring the Big Dance Pool experience to your dinner table for the next three weekends!
Stay tuned to The Big Dance website, www.thebiggestdance.com, for the rules, updates and a host of other surprises. Buckle up and enjoy the show!
God? Are you dancing again this year? This is Tak and Ken
ReplyDeleteThanks for the deadbeat list. WOW.10% OF THE POOL IS deadbeat. We might want to consider closing the pool next year to only people that have paid this year before the first weekend. I noticed that some people in this deadbeat list are in the top 25 so my guess is the majority of them will pay. I think everyone on the deadbeat liut ( and I do not care if the money came in after the list was made ) should not be allowed to cash or allowed back next year. Each Year this deadbeat list gets bigger and bigger and there is a motivation not to pay unless you are you have a chance. As Always, the Commissioner Rules.
